Article: From a Small Atelier in Fukuoka to the World

From a Small Atelier in Fukuoka to the World

From a Small Atelier in Fukuoka to the World

TEJIKA began about 15 years ago in Japan.

Since the very beginning, every TEJIKA bag has been made by hand, one at a time. From cutting the fabric and sewing each piece to the final finishing touches, every step of the process is carried out by one person.

All of our bags are made in a small atelier in Fukuoka, Japan.

For many years, TEJIKA has focused almost entirely on customers in Japan. We have continued making bags at our own pace, carefully creating each piece and sending it to people throughout the country.

Over time, however, we began receiving more and more messages from people overseas asking how they could purchase a TEJIKA bag.

And now, after many years of making and selling our bags mainly in Japan, we are finally able to ship TEJIKA overseas.

Our international online store is a new chapter for us.

The place where our bags are made has not changed. Each bag is still made in the same small atelier in Fukuoka, by the same hands, and with the same care as always.

What has changed is that these bags can now travel much farther.

We are very happy to finally be able to send TEJIKA bags from our small atelier in Japan to people around the world.

Thank you for discovering TEJIKA.
